1. Nature of the Activity

Kayaking in urban waterways involves inherent risks. At Arkitech Kayak Pathways, we provide expert instruction, but all participants must acknowledge that water conditions, traffic, and weather are dynamic factors. We're committed to your safety, yet participants assume all responsibility for personal injury or property damage.

2. Rental Agreement & Equipment

When you rent our premium gear, we're trusting you with high-performance tools. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be the responsibility of the renter. This includes hulls, paddles, and safety vests. We check every piece of equipment before you hit the East River; we ask that you do the same.

• Equipment must be returned by the agreed time.
• PFDs must be worn at all times while on the water.
• Late returns are subject to a $25 fee per thirty-minute increment.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Life happens. We get it. If you need to reschedule, please give us 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a tour are non-refundable. Why? Because we've already secured your guide and blocked that equipment for you. In cases of severe weather, Arkitech Kayak Pathways reserves the right to cancel; in these instances, you'll receive a full credit or refund.

4. Health & Conduct

Are you ready for the physical challenge? Paddling requires moderate effort. Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be barred from the water immediately without refund. Our guides have the final word on safety decisions.
